Komoro Distillery will run a free, touring shuttle bus, for 2 weeks from 6th to 20th Aug, with help from the Komoro Tourism Bureau and JR Bus Kanto, to enable visitors to the Distillery to see more of the local area.

This bus will pick up customers from Komoro Station, and stop to drop off and pick up from six touristic locations. On the way to Komoro Distillery, the bus will stop at Matsui, ‘Apple Village’, where customers can pick their own fruit, and drive through Northland Street, part of an ancient route that connected Komoro to the north coast. From Komoro Distillery, the Tour Bus will take customers to Komoro Kogen Museum, which has works by several significant Japanese artists, Nunobiki Kannon, an historical shrine set on a cliff-top and Nunobiki Hot Springs, where customers can enjoy the views of the Chikuma River, whilst enjoying the hot springs experience. Our hope is that people will fall in love with the wider Komoro area when they come to visit the distillery, and this shuttle tour bus is just the first initiative towards this goal.
